Road Closure - Monroe St. over US-23

Starting Sun. March 8th for 150 Days

Monroe Street over US-23 will close Sunday night, March 8, at 9 p.m., and remain closed for 150 days. The goal of the construction project is to improve traffic flow and add capacity to one of the area’s busiest corridors. Other road details as follows:

• Westbound on-ramp to northbound US-23 will permanently close Friday, March 6 at 9 p.m.
• US-23 mainline will experience lane restrictions the weekend of Friday, March 6-Sunday, March 8, for traffic adjustments. 
• Acres Road remains open between Alexis Road and Monroe Street.
• Northbound on/off ramps to/from US-23 will remain open.
• Southbound on/off ramps to/from US-23 will remain open.
